This December, in one of the oldest quarters of Riga’s Old Town — at 13 Pils Street — our elegant hotel Carillon Aparthotel will open its doors, becoming a significant addition to the Keystone Collection hotel portfolio.

Carillon Aparthotel is housed in a reconstructed pre-war Art Nouveau building, first mentioned in state archives in 1870. Over the years, the building has served as a tenement house, a printing house, and a residential property. Now, following a careful restoration, it has been transformed into a modern aparthotel with a rich historical legacy.
The hotel’s name is inspired by the carillon — a musical instrument composed of a series of tuned bells whose melodic sound symbolises harmony and tradition. Just as these chimes fill the streets of Old Riga with a peaceful atmosphere, Carillon Aparthotel invites its guests to enjoy a harmonious stay in a historic setting. The hotel’s interior and décor have been created by Latvian architects and designers, who paid particular attention to preserving the building’s architectural heritage.
The opening of the new aparthotel marks another milestone in the development of the Keystone Collection hotel network, founded in 2023. The collection currently includes two hotels — Konventa Sēta Hotel and Carillon Aparthotel. Both are located in Old Riga, just a short walk apart, and complement each other perfectly.
